When I try to format my drive for use in bootcamp using the bootcamp assistant, It will get to the point where it gets to actually partitioning the drive, but then I'll get the alert where the whole screen goes dark and there's that box of text, and it says you need to restart your computer in several different languages. When I get back into osx, there is no second drive on the desktop. However, the space that I set aside for the partition is missing from the main drive. So I have to boot onto the osx setup disc, and run disk utility and repair the drive. This fixes the missing drive space. However I tried the bootcamp assistant again, and to my surprise, I got the error message again! What's going on? Thanks!

I think you're talking about a kernal panic...
