FAT Partition doesn't show up under leopard

Hi all,

I have a 250gb LACIE USB drive which I have partitioned into one HFS and one FAT partition. When I plugged it in under tiger, both showed up happily. Under leopard, only the HFS partition shows up. If I go into disk utility I can check the disk with no errors, and I can open it from there, but it never shows up in the lists of drives connected to my machine.

Have I missed something ? Does anyone have any ideas on this ?
