Add buttons to Finder Top Bar

Right click on an icon on the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar… If your looking to add applications to the toolbar then you would just drag and drop it to the toolbar.
EDIT: If you are looking to add applications to the toolbar don't just drag and drop, you have to wait beat or two for the toolbar to animate and allow you to drop the app in.
