I'm a new Mac user here and there's this little issue that's been bugging the crap out of me.
I have a Time Capsule 500 GB as an N only router with a Linksys WRT54GS acting as a B/G bridge. Everything works and I'm able to connect with all devices and do backups. Now here's my issue. Is my MBP supposed to mount the TC HDD automatically on startup? I have the "Show Connected servers on Desktop" checked in my Finder prefs, and it does actually show the drive on my desktop, but only after I select it from my Finder window. Is this normal or should it automatically show up on my desktop when my MBP connects to my network (ie, when I turn it on)?
It's not that big of a deal, but I hate it when my things don't work exactly the way they're supposed to...
