iPod touch Loading a new touch

I have a 32GB touch on order &, in preparation, have imported 16GB+ of music (classical) into iTunes.

Will all this music transfer to the touch 'in one go' or should I break it into 'bitesize chunks' (if so, how big?)?

It will all go "in one go," but the initial sync will probably take a while--perhaps 45 minutes to an hour or so. Future syncs will, of course, be much faster.
