XP vs Vista on a iMac

Looking to get the iMac 2.8Ghz with the 256mb graphics card. I want to dual boot, but I don't know whether to get XP or Vista, I know Vista SP1 is out or due out, and I'll only use the Windows side for gaming, I've had mixed reviews about Vista and wanted to know what other peoples experience's was with both on the Mac's and Gaming... Games I would like to play are:

BF1942
BF2142
BF2
Crysis
COD 1/2/3/4
...and so on...
