iSight green light or lights ?

Hello

When I turn iSight on I only see 1 green light on the right side of it.What's the little dot on the left side for ? Only 1 side has the green light or both sides ?

There is only one green light on the right side of the iSight. I don't know what little dot on the other side you might see.

The green light is to show that the iSight is turned on and is usually on the right of it. The hole on the leftshould be the mic. If you have an iMac or a MacBook it is probably the mic. If you have a MacBook Pro the mic is inside, near the speakers (MacBook Pros don't have the hole on the left side of the iSight).

Its definitely the mic.... it has been there as long as I can remember -- since the White Intel iMacs at least.
 
On the MacBook, the left hole is the microphone, and the one on the right is the light.
