Hey guys, I am in the market for an Ipod (my first one :)) well im not going to buy it my wife is ;) FYI, Im looking at :apple: 160gb Ipod Classic

Heres afew things that worry/bother me:

1. That the ipod Classic will be updated soon.

2. Apple might add unlimited Itunes for new Ipods for a cost.

What do you guys think of buying one at this time?

Update should be minor, im sure, im not worried about space. Do you guys really think apple would do unlimited Itunes when buying a new Ipod? Would it be worth it? I currently listen to all my music via CD.

Thanks for looking

iPods are going to be updated constantly so buying one now or later won't really make a difference besides price. You can expect to see new iPods, well the classics at least, updated once a year.
And about the free iTunes, I don't think that record labels and/or artists are going to agree to giving out music for free. It's too big of a market; for the artists and iTunes. Apple has made billions off of iTunes. I highly doubt that they will match that profit or even come close to it by just raising the prices of iPods and making iTunes free.
