Unstable after recent airport update?

Im on a macbook c2d 2.16gig, and I am finding that after the recent update (2/4/08) my airport connection is very unstable. It is dropping my wireless and then not displaying any connections in the air until I turn it on and off again. Anyone having similar problems?
 
my airport has been cutting in and out throughout the day ever since i upgraded to 10.5.2 ..nothing has worked

any help would be appreciated
