Hi,
I'm a student and trying to capture video from a CCD-type camera attached to a microscope, using iMovie '08.
When I click the "Camera import button", I can see a live video feed from the camera. When I "Capture", the screen momentarily goes blank, then the video feed comes back onto the screen, recording is in progress, but the image is zoomed in compared to what I originally saw. I would like to capture the image as I first see it, but cannot figure out how to stop this cropping from happening. Any help would be gratefully received.
Additional information:
Computer: MacBook (1 GB RAM, 2.16 GHz)
OS: OS 10.4.11
Camera: The camera has a resolution of 1.37 million pixels. It connects via the firewire port. When I plug it in, my computer automatically loads up iChat (for some reason.) iMovie '08 automatically detects the camera, I cannot get iMovie HD to detect the camera.
Andrew
