This happened a couple times before, but it seemed to stop, so I never worried about it. However, once again, some letters on my MacBook have inexplicably vanished. There's no real explanation for this, and in the time I wrote this, the letters have all come back.

See the attached picture for a partial screenshot of the problem.

Hmm... How did you get rid of them? Have you installed, changed or deleted any fonts recently? Can you replicate the problem or is it still completely random? :)
 
It's completely random. Hadn't happened in months. I guess it's not too serious, but it's annoying when it does occur. Maybe I'll get around to installing Leopard onto it eventually.
 
It could be related to how you got rid of the haxies, too... A clean install or even an archive of Leopard should fix it up when the time comes but it looks like there's no hurry. :)
