Although I've had my 23" ACD for nearly a couple years and noticed the very bad uneven backlighting (and a speck of dust under the panel) a while ago, I just couldn't be bothered at the time to get it replaced. But it's finally (!) starting to bother me enough that I feel like I just have to try for a replacement under my extended Apple Care warranty. Would Apple try to argue against it since I waited so long? Also I'm wondering about phone support vs my local Apple Store (I *can't* do without any monitor at all... I don't know how they handle shipped replacements).
