Please Help

My iPod just froze when I exited Installer after I installed a new app; so I did a hard reset via the home button and power button, now it wont boot up from the Apple symbol, please help. I'm able log into it via SSH which is strange.

EDIT: Do you think that if I copy the / folder of my iPod restore into the same firmware I had and overwrite all those files it will be like I had it before?

EDIT 2: I have tried taking out all the files under / but Transmit won't allow me to take some folders out?

Forget it... it's not going to work. Im just reseting. WOW THIS IS SUCH A PAIN, I HAD SO MANY APPS, AND CUSTOMIZATIONS. I'm NEVER going to be able to have it like it was before. Arghhhhhhhhh, this really pisses me off!
