So that's the extent of my Photoshopping usage: resizing images

I didn't want to repurchase Photoshop for a Mac (PC convert here) so I was wondering if any free programs out there took care of this simple task?

I've heard of Gimp before as a free alternative to Photoshop but wasn't sure if it could accomplish this

Sketch isn't a image manipulation tool but you can still kinda resize stuff! However, saving out images isn't the best of quality, even when set to high quality.

Adobe has also launched an online version of Photoshop that is free to use and has just the very basics. You can also get GIMP, a free image editor, if you decide you want more than resize.
