I personally don't care about 3Dmark scores. I don't use that as a basis to see if I'm going to have problems in a game (performance or otherwise). In fact, I don't think I've ever used it. It's stupid IMO.
If all you're running is 3Dmark 06 on your laptop for whatever reason, then I guess I would stick with the laptops that get you a better score. However, if you plan on playing games, install the games you plan on playing and test the games out with the drivers. Look for any noticeable performance differences and any graphical glitches. If you don't see any difference between the drivers, then I guess your question would be answered as to what you should use.
