i am trying to figure out how to get a line of text to blink on my iWeb homepage.

any help would be appreciated

thanks
jim

<blink></blink> is a very ancient non-standard tag produced by netscape during the first browser war, probably only gecko series still support it. And probably won't be long..

get a animated gif, animated png, animated svg (usefulness decreases in that order)

thank you for the replies but i guess what i need if possible is exactly "how" to do it. if its not to much trouble could you give me step by step instructions ot steer me to a site that would walk me thru it

thanks again

jim

If you have photoshop, you can use the "create animation" tool to put a few pictures together of the text you want, then save it as a gif so that it flashes. Then, insert this into your page.
