OK, I downloaded Little Snitch earlier, mistakenly thinking it was freeware. Once I realised it was a trial I decided not to bother and removed it.

Now Adium, Transmission, Candybar (to register the serial number) and iTunes Store can't connect to the Internet but Opera and Mail can???

I've checked the Firewall- all are set to accept incoming connections- I've tried removing their entries on Mac Firewall and re-adding- no joy. I've also tried Disabling the Firewall altogether for a brief time.

I've tried repairing permissions and a restart.

Anyone got any ideas? I uninstalled Little Snitch using the installer as per the instructions.

Thanks for any help :)

EDIT: Oh, dear- my apologies

Managed to fix it, thought I'd share how in case anyone else has the same problem.

I reinstalled the latest version of Snitch from their website.
Reset ALLOW for the problem programs.
When they were running OK, I uninstalled Little Snitch- USING THE INSTALLER PROGRAM AND SELECTING UNINSTALL, NOT JUST DRAGGING THE APP FROM APPLICATIONS TO THE TRASH.

And now, all is well... til I mess it up again. :D

Again, apologies for the pointless post, maybe it'll stand someone else in good stead. :)
