Click to expand... Did you even read the first post? "I have a 24" iMac C2D 2.16Ghz (White) and am looking at a RAM upgrade. I know the standard RAM supported is 667Mhz however is 800Mhz compatible?" Does it sound like a Penryn iMac (which by the way hasn't even been announced yet)? Anyways Logana is right, you get no benefit from it and it might even cause more problems than it will solve.

I got a pretty good deal. 3Gb (1x 1GB stick, 1x 2GB stick) for just under £30 (GBP) from www.7dayshop.com who are a pretty decent company. Granted its unbranded memory, but its going to be better than the current 1GB I've got
