I phoned Apple Business Store in the UK (sales offfice is based in Ireland I think) and was given an instant discount of £80 compared to their Business Store Online price for a MBP .
Specifications:
* 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
* 200GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
* MacBook Pro 15-inch Widescreen Display
* SuperDrive 8X (DVD+R DL/DVD+RW/CD-RW)
* Keyboard & Mac OS
Apple Apple Business Store online price = £1629.00
Business Store Phone sales = £1548.65
Thats great! I'm wandering if I can get further discounts on accessories, as I want to add some other items.
Does anyone have much experience when dealing with the Telephone sales team??
Any tips on getting further discounts and deals? Why would one want to just use the onilne ordering when (as a Business Customer) there is such a discount.
Also ordered a DVI to video adaptor, which was cheaper than Apple Store Online prices, when ordered via Business Sales. Ok saving was only £1 for a normally priced £15.
so grand total saving of £81
