Network Proxy Setting

Hi Guys,

I am trying to run the softwareupdate tool on Terminal but it is asking proxy username and password because I am behind the proxy.
Is there any way to set network proxy "user name " and "password" pro grammatically?

If I able set the proxy username and psw programmatically then first I will run my tool which will set the proxy user name and psw after that I will run "softwareupdate" tool then it won't ask for the proxy user name & password password.


Any helpful link will be appreciated.
