Ok, so I have a POP account with 123-reg.co.uk and my broadband provider is Sky.

I cant seem to send email from within Mail, however I can read.

The SMTP server needs the proper info and i am unsure what to put.

Guidance greatly appreciated.

Really strange...

I found this blurb on the 123-reg site

Can I send email through 123-reg too?
You can use 123-reg webmail to send emails to any address at all.

To send messages from programs like Outlook Express, you need access to an SMTP server. We don't currently offer this, but you'll almost certainly find your broadband company or internet service provider has an SMTP server you can use to send messages from your 123-reg email address.

What services do you have with them?

I assume that you have an email account with Sky even though you are not using it. Go to its technical support webpage for the proper URL and port for your outgoing mail server.
