More likely to develop "dead spots": Series 5 or 7?

I think it would be a good idea for us to contribute, based on our experiences, any information regarding which LCD is more likely to end up with dead spots on the touch screen.

My personal situation is that I own both a 5 and a 7 series and am going to get rid of one. They both have their quirks, advantages and disadvantages, but the deciding factor for me is going to be which will last the longest before needing repair, as I have no AT&T contract and probably won't have a good chance at being able to return it to Apple.

I honestly can't answer your question, but I would think that if one of your 2 iPhones were more prone to develop dead spots, you probably wouldn't be able to tell from the LCD model number. Maybe I'm wrong, but aren't the LCD and the touch components 2 separate things that are stacked together? And thus made by 2 different corporations.
