I went to send an email today, and I noticed that the email address I was typing in wasn't recognized, so I went to check the Address Book and all my contacts had been deleted. The only contacts left were myself and the default Apple contact. I made no changes, and haven't opened Address Book recently.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix, or have I lost them all permanently?

Missing Address Book Contacts

I have had this issue before. Depending on the content of you ~\Library\... files you might be able to recover the content. Take a look at the Address Book manual.

Since then I always keep a relatively recent backup of my Address Book. :)

Have fun
