siurpeeman macrumors 603 Dec 2, 2006 6,327 30 the OC Apr 7, 2008 #2 there's a non-rechargeable battery inside the remote. you can replace it by pressing that dimpled hole on the bottom, popping out the battery. apple's support page on how to replace the battery.
