Slow down CD in MBP - to noisy for listening to music

hi Guys! my cd drive (in penryn mbp) is quite noisy when listening to CDs.. cannot stand it;) do u know any software to slow down the rotation /speed of the drive??

in Win or Linux its super easy..via Nero CD or eject command line..but Mac? really, for this price its a joke..im considering to give it back..

You could rip your CDs to iTunes. In your itunes preferences you can select the quality and format of the rip as well.
