I recently added 1GB of RAM to my iBook G4 12". I used kingston RAM. It does show that my MAC recognizes it however, I've since uploaded about 5 cds into my iTunes and it started telling me there is no more room on the startup disk again. Am I missing something or did I do something wrong? Any help with this would be much appreciated as I'm going out of my mind with this.

I should also mention that I bought an external hard-drive prior to adding the memory and I wasn't able to sufficiently run many programs with the use of that either.

Memory is not hard drive space. It sounds like you've filled your notebook's internal (boot) hard drive. Have you moved files off to your external hard drive? You might need to move some things off to your external that you don't need with you at all times... and depending on how large your iTunes library is, that might the best bet.
