Zooming without mouse?

How can I use the zoom function without using the scroll wheel on the mouse? A friend of mine has a none scroll wheel mouse and he often gets the accessibility function activating by mistake when using shortcuts. How can he undo this without the mouse?
 
Universal access pref pane -> Turn Zoom on, and it tells you the shortcuts :)
