Something thats been bugging me for ages is although i've got the international settings set to "British", whenever i type words like "colour" or "realise" i get the red squiggle underneath it and it wants to replace it with "color" and "realize"

how do i un-Americanize (;)) my computer completely?

To change the language dictionary used by the spell check feature:
1. Open an application that uses a built-in dictionary. Mail is an example.
2. Choose Spelling from the Edit menu, and Spelling from the submenu.
3. In the Spelling dialog box, select the desired dictionary language from the pop-up menu.
4. Close the window.
