Hi,

I recently got my old MBP replaced due to a recurring fault and just got a new MBP, nice I know. Anyway for whatever reason I can not get the nvidia control panel or the windows power options to let my monitor sleep when the system is idle. No matter what I set, neither the laptop monitor nor my external if connected will sleep.

Any ideas? I've got the 8600m gt 512mb, but I doubt the 512 makes any difference.

Can't seem to find any updated drivers.

Cheers,
Aly.

Cheers for that!

Do you know if it solves the problem I was talking about?
:)

I've never heard of that happening, so I'm not sure, but it should work, new drivers can solve a whole bunch of issues for any type of hardware.
