I long ago installed the hack that allows an iBook to be hooked up to an external monitor and for the past few months I've mainly been using it hooked up to an external LCD and also using the internal screen. I have been using a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo with this setup. Today I had to use my internal display as my only display but still hooked up my keyboard and mouse combo. For some reason every time I click the middle mouse button the display brightness lowers.

I figured out using the keyboard shortcuts control panel that the system thinks I am pressing F14 when I middle click and that for external displays that lowers their brightness. This has become frustrating very quickly and I have searched for a couple hours now in various places with no luck. How do I stop OS X from thinking I'm pressing F14 when I middle click? Any help would be very much appreciated.
