Hi,

I'm going to be upgrading my MBP HD soon and I was wondering what would be the best way to clone my existing drive onto the new drive before installing it. I just want to be able to clone everything, stick in the new drive, and boot up as if the HD swap was transparent. How can this be accomplished? I was thinking about buying a 2.5" External enclosure to place the new drive in while I clone it. What would the process of cloning be like? Do I just literally drag & drop my entire HD contents over? Or use a third party software?

Thanks in advance.
