I have a folder of videos that I view in Front Row fairly often. As I add videos to the folder, I have to get info and click "Hide Extension" because it just looks nicer to see "Happy Kittens Frolicking" than it does to see "Happy Kittens Frolicking.avi".

I'd like for this to happen automatically when I add things to my video folder. Is there a way to set it so that when something goes into Video or any of the subfolders, that it automatically has the file extension hidden? If not, is there a way to make an Automator workflow that does this?

Thanks, would be great if it happened without my intervention, but the method you suggest is really easy. Thanks! :D
