Hi

I have recently just completed my website in iWeb where I have created 2 galleries, Link: www.martynmphotography.com then go to Gallery page.

As you can see the images look as if there to small and are unplesant to look at. All the images are around 8MB in size with 350Dpi.

Any ideas why it looks like this?!!

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

sorry, you page can't even be displayed in my firefox 3, nor in opera 9.5

about image quality, what format are you using?

Works fine for me I'm on Safari 3.1. The site looks good, what's wrong with the picture size? They are fine for just gallery viewing and probably don't hurt your bandwidth as much

Strange, when you click Gallery at the top of your site gallery 2 looks fine, but the first one looks like the images are poor quality thumbnails. Is this what you see? I'm Using the latest Firefox on my PC here.

BTW iWeb does behave a little strange sometimes, I have had problems with things looking perfect in preview and horrible when published.

Picture Quality in iWeb

Ok... here is how to get better picture quality in iWeb 2.0

1) Save the images at 300dpi at TWICE the size that you want them to appear on your website. (If I want a 3" high image on my website, I save it at 300dpi 6" high.)
2) Import to iWeb.
3) Go to the Metrics Panel in the Inspector (View/Inspector if needed)
Hit the "Original Size" button.
4) Scale the image down to your desired size.

Good luck!

:D
