so as i'm literally waiting for someone to pick up the laptop to buy it, I go to back everything up, and the screen goes blank. I can see stuff going on (the backlight went out) but there is no brightness, even when I turn it up on the keyboard (i can see the brightness box show up when i press the button)
not too sure what to do. I had just opened the ibook up to fix the optical drive, put it back together, booted it up and it looked fine, everything was working, then it seemed to just go out (I watched it go out, just kinda faded to black within the span of a second)
did something come loose when i opened it or did the backlight die on me?
