Hey everyone,

I have a Macbook, 2.16 GHZ, 2 GB RAM, etc...purchased back in July 2007.

As of a couple months ago, my wireless connection at home acts funny. At random times, my Airport connection flashes on and off (full signal, no signal) for a couple of minutes, then it goes back to normal. It might happen again later.

I have reset my router numerous times, and the other 2 computers that use the wireless network (both PCs), have NO ISSUES. Its only my MacBook that does. All 3 computers are on the same floor also.

Whats wrong? How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Have you installed all the Leopard Updates? i had trouble when I first installed Leopard; It wouldnt' hold the connection. After all the updates, still had minor problems with it but changed our settings to WPA2 Personal and haven't had a problem since.

Yes, I get this constantly on my mbp 2.16 core duo and even my mac pro 2.8 octo...

the desktop is more reliable however.

the laptop is driving me crazy, it happens on pretty much all wireless networks. but it happens even when i'm very close to the router - at home i have an airport express (g not n) and it even does it on that.

i'm assuming it's because of leopard, i hope 10.5.3 fixes things.
