Airport Express printing help!

Hey all. Got my Express N hooked up today, and am having some trouble printing from my Macs (Mb Air and Mb Pro). Basically, if my printer (HP 2400 series) runs out of paper while printing, it kills the printing unless I turn the printer off and back on. My Windows system has no trouble with printing, running out of paper, and then resuming by pressing ok on the printer itself. Is there a fix for this at all for the Macs?
