Hi folks,

the below are pictures of my new MBP screen with white as desktop background.

is my screen looks alright (brought MBP last saturday) in terms of yellow tinting or any recent defects

Ouch! That's terrible.

The one i returned was not as bad as ur,.... If you're pay $$$,.... you should expect perfection.
 
I don't know why people keep putting threads like this up...:rolleyes:

I mean if you bothered to research all the other threads like this you would know that the yellowing problem should only be considered when looking straight at the screen.

Everyone knows that apple's screens show some yellow tints from the sides, so your photos mean nothing.

Just be happy with your machine and stop asking for reassurance from others.

If your happy with it, be happy with it and enjoy your MBP.:)
 
Honestly, it's difficult to tell from a photo in general, but really impossible to tell from these photos. All the 15" screens show dramatic color shifts off angle, that not how to judge. Your first picture is still at an up angle looking down. You need to look at it directly straight on to tell anything.
