Does anyone know of a solution for having a shared "frontroom" experience within a single mac with a number of user accounts?

For example : even though we all have our different accounts, we would still like to share single libraries of music, photos, movies, via frontroom.

I would like to consolidate everything onto a remote hard-drive, and then access that through frontroom - in an ideal situation.

Even if it isn't possible, you would still imagine that selecting "shared library" from the menu would give me an option of logging into the other users (making sure they've opened up the relevant app : iTunes, iPhoto etc). But this doesn't happen. It only shows shared libraries on other macs but not the users' libraries on that same machine.

Any thoughts?
