What is the best way of connecting my MacBook to my Pioneer PDP-428XD plasma TV as an external monitor?

I guess I'll first need the Mini-DVI to DVI adapter, and then what? Would a DVI to HDMI cable be the highest quality option?

That would probably be the high cost option, I'm not sure about quality because you're still going to have DVI on one end.

I use a DVI to VGA (converter) to get into my TV and it works quite well for watching DVDs.

I don't know if it's an option on the market, but perhaps a DVI to RCA plug (video is yellow). This would also support sound the easiest, taking it out the 1/8th inch jack to left and right on the TV.

Hope something here works for you!

I wouldn't use composite, the picture is absolutely hideous, even for normal TV.
