I had some issues with fan noise and brightness sounds, so off to the repair center, they replace the fan and screen, now guess what, the screen replacement had the yellowing issue and they can't release it until it has been replaced again.

At least they didn't send it back with the issue for me to discover, but how many of these damn screens have this issue?! and why does Apple seem to keep buying lower end components?

That's pretty surprising, coming from Apple. It's amazing that they even checked the replacement for proper operation before returning the unit.

Maybe they've finally eaten enough on MacBook Pro returns and exchanges to take notice that quality control problems exist.

One can dream.

actually it isn't Apple, there is no Apple where I am in this part of the world, just authorized apple repair shops that send repair requests to Apple, so no, had it been Apple they would have just shipped it to me for me to discover :D
