Using Iphone on Mac but jailboken and used on PC

Hi

I have an iphone which I jailbroke on a pc and have ever since connected to sync music through. Well now I have bought an Imac and want to use that instead for music.

If I put music on the mac and connect my iphone, will it require formatting and thus remove all the stuff I did to unlock the phone, or will it allow me to start syncing music etc just as I was on the pc.

Thanks for your help.
 
Jailbreaking doesn't effect syncing or backups. You can even restore from a jailbroken phone on a new, fresh iPhone without any issues.


If you have stuff on your phone already and want to get it to the mac, that's a different story, but you will be fine with what you want to do.
