Hey everyone

I have been searching and searching for a way to brake the 5fps mark

i just bought a Creative Live Optia AF. (say mac compatible on the box)
Picture is great, auto zoom works nicely

but the 5fps in ichat is horrid.

I have two machines my laptop and my macpro 2x 2.8

Any how when i connect i get 5fps and it does not move what so ever dosn't go down or up which i find weird like its capped or something.

my laptop i get a nice 30fps (expected)

I've tried the tips i found people posting to change the quicktime streaming to 1.5 and change ichat to 500 on both machines . this did not work for me.

I am really stumped at the moment. any help comments. test suggestions welcome.

I love makes by why are all the small things so difficult

help please ready to pull my hair out..

can't get my Optia AF to work

Sorry I can't help you with the 5fps issue but maybe you could help me. How did you your webcam to work? My mac meet the sys requirement. The blue light does come on for a few seconds when webcam is connected to computer but nothing else happens. When I try to start a meeting with video capability the video from the mac kicks in instead of the webcam. Is there something I need to do?
