I'm downloading a large game, will it be ok to leave my macbook on overnight?

I was just wondering if it would be 100% ok if i left my macbook on overnight still on with AC power to complete this game i'm downloading.

I'm pretty sure it will be fine, but its only game today and i just want to make 100% sure that i'm doing the right things with it.

If it is not OK then your computer is flawed and should be taken back.

In fact, asking such a question implies that you are unsure of the potentials of what your computer can do under normal use.

For example, I left my MacBook converting videos to .mp4 so I could use it with an :apple:tv multiple nights in a row. I opened it on day two to find that my fan sounded like a lawnmower, cracks had formed on the bottom, and my display was flickering because maybe the heat damaged the inverter. Hence it is flawed and will be taken back this weekend.

If your Macbook shows any of these symptoms, take it back. In other words, shoot first and ask questions later.
