Formac 750GB Disk Maxi Triple Interface

I have not used any of their products, but hesitated because the vendor does not disclose the case material. All 3.5" cases without a fan (surely more than 95% of the market) need aluminum (yes, I'm a yank) to dissipate heat. Plastic is sure to reduce the life of the HDD, and a few reviews on Amazon indicate failure in about one year. Macally makes a metal case, and I have two of them (3.5" and 2.5"). Both get rather hot, and that tells me they are letting the heat out.
