Hey guys,

So i have a new Mac Pro 2.8 octo and I want to add a 2nd hard drive (probably a 150GB 10,000 rpm drive) but I want my operating system on the new hard drive. Can I simply copy the partition from my current 320gb drive and boot the operating system from the new 10,000 rpm drive without reinstalling Leopard?

Yes, either SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner (free downloads) will clone one drive to the other maintaining bootability/apps/settings, everything.
