MBP (SR) wont update latest security patch

I have a SR MBP that wont install the latest security update. When I click on "install update", it restarts, and than upon restart the progress bar appears with a message that says something like "configuring for update". Ive repaired permissions, and even let the thing go overnight. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Your thread came up on the search, but I don't have any ideas...
