Hey all,

Hopefully a soon to be mac convert when i pull the trigger on a MBP. Been doing a little research, but can't find any information on my questions. Looking to use VMware since it seems they've gotten lots of thumbs up from people on this forum.

1) Is it better to import a physical machine, or do a clean install of Win XP? I feel like I would get more stability doing an full install of XP, then reinstalling apps I need etc. Plus, it would be cleaner and more streamlined. Is this a safe assumption, or do imports from physical machines work just as well? Any experiences both ways here?

2) Related: What happens with things such as bluetooth drivers (Widcomm 5.1.0.1100) and other related things when you do an import from a physical machine? Are these things needed? Will they even be imported? Seems like programs like Activesync for PDA sync need bluetooth drivers that support them. I find this confusing and don't understand what happens when XP is running on mac in either scenario, whether a clean install, or an import from existing machine.

Thanks!
