Safari not displaying all text on websites

Hi,

I recently reinstalled Leopard on my MBP. I am noticing that safari is not displaying all the text on a majority of the sites I go to. For instance all the p's or x's will not display. I do not know what is causing this. Is this a known issue? I attached two pictures to show you what I am talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
