Flip4Mac can't handle .asf files?

Ok so i'm trying to play back some .asf files on my mac through Quicktime with the latest version of Fliip4Mac installed and the audio is totally out of sync with the video and its really annoying!! VLC is even worse but the files play back perfectly on my windows machine!!! any ideas to make it work better on my mac??

I haven't found anything that handles ASF files well on OS X.

Do i have to uninstall Flip4Mac to use perian?

No the plugins live happily side by side.

Thanks, Perian is a little bit better the audio stays in sync with the video until i start fast forwarding the video or seeking certain spots. any other suggestions??
