What about those shortages?

Wow, all those stories about iPhone shortages just went poof! What's the situation? Are the stores stocked up or what?
 
Well I know a couple of Colorado stores got some 8gb units in. Don't know if they sold out again or not. Still haven't seen the 16's in a while.

The Apple online store still has 5-7 days for both phones.
 
I was in my local Apple store last week, and the genius told me that whenever they get iPhones in stock, they get a line out the door of people waiting to buy them. He says that most of the sales these days are to people who unlock the phones and sell them (often overseas).
